An Evening to Advance Innovation and Care - A Partnership with 100+ Women Who Care Montreal
On Sept 24th at 7pm at the Atwater Club, The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation is teaming up with 100+ Women Who Care Montreal to advance innovation and care for our littlest heroes! Join in and become part of their sisterhood-for-good or simply lend your support!
100+ Women Who Care Montreal is an inspiring growing sisterhood of passionate women committed to helping our Montreal community. Through the power of collective giving, they magnify their impact on local innovative non-profits and charitable programs. Their mission is to create awareness around distinct pressing local social issues, as well as to identify and support respective effective solutions. Three times a year, they organize a one-hour social event that requires each member or guest to commit to a donation of $100 ($50 for under 30 years old). Three finalists, addressing a specified social cause, are invited to present and a vote is cast to determine which of the three will be awarded their collective donation!
On Sept 24th the MCHF has been invited to present the following three impactful programs: THE TINY TIM FUND - Easing the financial burden on low-income families during a child’s health crisis in hospital, CHILDREN’S PARENTAL PRESENCE AT INDUCTION (PPI) - Reducing the stress of eligible young patients and their parents, through training to accompany their child during anesthesia and THE SMART HOSPITAL PROJECT - research testing wireless vital-sign sensors on tiny newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit to improve care, reduce hospital stays and to eventually permit some patients to return home and be monitored remotely!
