P.K. Subban, our spokesperson

“I will never stop fundraising or raising awareness for all of you.”

In September 2015, star defenceman P.K. Subban announced his support for sick children and their families when he and his foundation committed 10 million dollars to the Montreal Children’s Hospital. To date, this is the largest philanthropic commitment by a professional athlete in Canada.

As a spokesperson, donor and board member, P.K. Subban’s impact on the Hospital is beyond measure. Projects funded by P.K.’s Helping Hand help over 9,000 families a year.

Even though P.K. has decided to hang up his skates, he will continue to honour his commitment to our young patients and their families: I will never stop fundraising or raising awareness for all of you. And don’t worry; I’ll be back for many more surprise visits.

Join us in wishing P.K. a happy retirement!
