401 Bike Challenge

In 2005, Gene Piccoli launched the 401 Bike Challenge, a 580 km cycling event in which riders cycle from Toronto to Montreal. Inspired by his wife Angie’s triumph against cancer, Gene dedicates all the funds raised by the event support Sarah’s Floor, the pediatric oncology floor at the Children’s.

For the past fourteen years, the 401 Bike Challenge has been a remarkable grass roots success raising over $1.4 million for the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Congratulations to the Piccoli family for helping improve the care and treatment of children battling cancer, and for helping to support their families, as well as the dedicated people who care for them at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
