More than 11,000 people turned out this weekend to take a look at the new Montreal Children’s Hospital on the Glen site. On Saturday and Sunday, patients and their families, staff members and their families, and members of the public followed self-guided tours and enjoyed a rare opportunity to access areas of the building that will be off-limits once the new Children’s opens its doors. Among the highlights were the cafeteria with its impressive wall of windows, a new emergency department twice the size of the current one, the spectacular Children’s Atrium, state-of-the art operating suites and spacious single-patient rooms. We hope that everyone is as excited as we are about our hospital’s grand opening in May!
