A virtual cocktail class to help some of the sickest children in Quebec

The Children’s Foundation is proud to announce that the first edition of Santé to Life, held on March 25, 2021, raised $28,267 for the Children’s Healthy Kids Fund. Thanks to the generous contributions of participants, sponsors and members of the organizing committee, who demonstrated their creativity to ensure the event’s success, we can continue to meet the needs of families at the Hospital.

An Interactive Experience

The Santé to Life virtual event allowed participants to hone their mixology skills from the comfort and safety of their homes. They received a gift box before the event, allowing them to make their own drinks guided by guest mixologists Kate Boushel and Pierre-Hugues Marois, as well as the emcee, Cousin Vinny.

“We’re grateful that during these uncertain times we could count on the invaluable support of the 250 participants, our sponsors, and our donors,” says Josh Jagermann, member of the organizing committee and former patient of the Children’s.

Participants also had the opportunity to bid on unique prizes at the Santé to Life virtual auction.

“Exceeding all our expectations, the wide range of wines, spirits, sports equipment and gift certificates auctioned allowed us to raise $28,267 for families at the Children’s,” adds Christina Paolucci, another member of the organizing committee.

Dedicated to supporting the Hospital’s most urgent needs, the Healthy Kids Fund allows our medical experts to offer essential care to countless young patients, now and beyond the pandemic.

“Event participants and our precious donors provide invaluable support for patients and their families. With your help, we can help sick children in Quebec get back their fighting spirit,” says Renée Vézina, president of the Children’s Foundation.
