Pedal for Kids 2025: A Resounding Success!
Cyclists pedaled their hearts out—raising an amazing $460,000 for The Montreal Children’s Hospital!
The 2025 edition of Pedal for Kids was one for the books! Over three action-packed days, downtown Montreal came alive as more than two dozen spirited corporate teams powered the 30-seat Mighty Bike through the city’s financial district. Together, they raised an extraordinary $460,000 in support of The Montreal Children’s Hospital—and more specifically, services in a new state-of-the-art Dentistry Clinic designed for our most vulnerable young patients.
Now in its 34th year, Pedal for Kids continues to prove that when a community comes together, incredible things happen. Every turn of the pedal raised donations for Canada’s busiest pediatric dental clinic, where kids with complex medical needs, behavioral challenges, and socio-economic barriers will receive the care they deserve.
A Special Thanks to Our Heroes on Wheels
“Our cyclists are riding to do more than just to cross a finish line,” said Anthony T. Pepper, Chair of the Pedal for Kids organizing committee. “They’re riding in support of a clinic where every child feels safe, respected, and cared for.”
Renée Vézina, President, The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, adds: “Our heartfelt thanks go out to every rider, sponsor, donor, committee member, and volunteer. You’re helping us transform pediatric care—and the lives of countless families.”
Meet William, The 2025 Pedal for Kids Spokeschild
Born with no reflexes, unexplained fevers, and extreme sensitivity to touch, William’s early years were filled with pain and uncertainty. For eight long years, his mother Stéphanie searched for answers.
The turning point came at The Children’s, when pediatrician Dr. Jennifer Drouin linked William’s asthma to hidden allergies. Shortly after, neurologist Dr. Maryam Oskoui diagnosed him with a rare SCN8A gene mutation—responsible for epilepsy, movement disorders, and developmental delay.
Today, William is thriving. As the Pedal for Kids spokeschild, his heart wrenching story energized cyclists who were riding for all the many other kids still waiting for answers—and a chance to heal.
Our Mighty Committee
This year’s success would not have been possible without the passionate efforts of our volunteer organizing committee. Special thanks to Chair Anthony T. Pepper and his stellar team: Rudy Azoulay, Michael Conway (Chair Emeritus), Nicolas Di Nezza, Eddy Farace, Kuljinder Kaur Magee, Daniel Kaur Magee, Paul Normandin (Chair Emeritus), Gary Ramjattan, Ryan Richardson, Luka Rochon, and Johanne Sabourin.
From all of us at The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation: THANK YOU for helping to bring smiles, comfort, and healing to the children, teens and expectant moms with high-risk pregnancies who need it most.
Together, we ride for kids.
