A Concert for Kids with Cancer

Friday, February 27, 2026

In December 2018, 10-year-old Léandre Gaucher was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. During this period of treatment, his violin became a vital source of comfort, strength, and hope. Today, Léandre and his brother Audrick are joining accomplished musicians to give back to the hospital that saved his life.

The concert will feature Tristan Blair (cello), Carl Ek (clarinet), Martine Jomphe (piano), Audrick Gaucher (violin), Léandre Gaucher (violin), Sophie Gong (violin), Mathilde Lepage (french horn), Ian Sabourin (counter-tenor), and Thomas Vinals (tenor). The concert is presented under the honorary patronage of conductor Adam Johnson.
