Déjeun'aide 2020

The fifth edition of Déjeun’aide looked a little different than usual but succeed in raising $23,000 for the Children’s!

This intimate networking breakfast pivoted to a virtual platform, with a series of webinars hosted every Friday in November. With over a dozen leaders in industries ranging from finance to science to entertainment, students and young professionals were offered a glimpse into the impacts of the pandemic on these businesses. Déjeun’aide is organized by a volunteer committee operating under the umbrella of the YLC.

Since inception, Déjeun’aide has raised over $220,000 for important hospital priorities, including the Febrile Young Infant Research Program led by Dr Brett Burstein.

In support of the Children’s Foundation, Déjeun’aide – Breakfast with Leaders – provides an opportunity for ambitious young professionals to network with business, social and community leaders over an intimate breakfast, once a year.

Déjeun’aide is the ONLY student-led charitable breakfast event in Montreal However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Déjeun’aide committee has decided to host the fifth edition of Déjeun’aide in the form of an online webinar series. A total of four webinars will take place throughout the month of November & December 2020, on Friday mornings.

This unique networking event is organised by the Young Leaders Circle. Déjeun’aide has established itself as a sought-after event for students and young professionals to interact with, and be mentored by, senior executives and management from many of Montreal’s top firms.
