They honour us all year; we honoured them for one night.
On January 25th, 2018, the P.K. Subban Atrium was filled with some of our brightest stars; nearly 200 event organizers gathered to celebrate their successes over the past year. The Foundation is fortunate to count on over 150 community groups every year who volunteer their time and work tirelessly to raise money for the most urgent needs of the Hospital. We were touched to be able to honour them and say “thank you” for everything that they do.
Renée Vézina, President of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, shared an amazing statistic – since the Foundation was founded, community events have raised over $47 million! The impact that these efforts has on patients was exemplified when Christophe Robichaud took the stage. Christophe, former patient of the Children’s, is a two-time cancer survivor who has gone on to raise over $150,000 and counting for the Hematology-Oncology department.
