As the clock hit 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Radiothon spokes-child, Emma, revealed Montrealers had donated a generous $1,327,000 to The Children’s. Since 2004, the Radiothon has raised over $28 million to help ensure sick children and their families continue to receive exceptional, highly specialized medical care.
“During a time when The Children’s continues to cope with the unprecedented challenges brought on by the pandemic, our 19-year partnership with Bell Media remains priceless. The Radiothon ensures The Children’s has the funds needed to find unexpected ways to heal,” said Mme. Renée Vézina, President of The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. “I am grateful to the children and parents who shared their trials and triumphs. Your stories have inspired us all.”
Dozens of listeners from across the city and province joined the Radiothon’s Circle of Hugs by making a $20 or more monthly donation.
