Déjeun’aide raises over $36 000 for The Children's
The Young Leaders Circle, in collaboration with The Children’s Foundation, is pleased to announce that the 6th annual edition of Déjeun’aide raised over $36,000 for young patients at The Children’s.
“This year, the event was held in a very unique new format – both in person and virtually,” explains Thomas Sinclair, founder and co-chair of Déjeun’aide. It was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without the generous support of participants, leaders, sponsors and our operating committee.”
On November 12, at the Humaniti Hotel Montreal, nearly one hundred students and young professionals met with leaders from various sectors such as finance, business, law, marketing, and science. “The leaders provided lots of insight on how businesses have been affected by the pandemic and how young professionals like us can move forward in their careers,” added Ronald Vincelli, co-chair.
Déjeun’aide is organized by a volunteer committee operating under the umbrella of the Young Leaders Circle. Since its inception, Déjeun’aide has raised over $240,000 in support urgent priorities at The Children’s, including the Febrile Young Infant Research Program led by Dr. Brett Burstein.
