The first edition of Stroll for Kids which was held on September 27 was a great success! With incredible support from families who participated, generous donors and volunteers, Alana Geller and Jodie Frenkiel presented a cheque to the Montreal Children’s Hospital for $100,000.
Both women gave birth to twins in the summer of 2014. Alana’s twins, Avi and Eli, and Jodie’s twins, Sophie and Matthew, were born prematurely. They each weighed less than 5 pounds at birth and spent considerable time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). ‘’ The dedication and professionalism of the nurses and doctors gave our children a chance at healthy and happy lives,’' they write on their website.
