Sounds of Hope for the Children's

It was loud day on the streets of Montreal when students put their noisemaking skills to good use last week! On April 6th, 2018, high school students from the Sacred Heart School of Montreal and elementary school students from The Priory School launched a new fundraising initiative and made Sounds of Hope to celebrate their fundraising efforts for the Children's. Led by Ms. Rath at Sacred Heart, Ms. Campbell at the Priory, and an enthusiastic organizing committee of students from Sacred Heart, the students rallied their community and made sure their voices were heard along the streets of downtown Montreal. Nearly $7,000 was raised through creative and exciting activities such as pledges, chocolate sales, and free dress days. Thank you to all the budding philanthropists and noisemakers for doing this for our little patients! Bruit d’espoir – Sounds of Hope is a heartfelt appeal by children FOR sick children. Using whistles, drums, musical instruments, other noisemakers and their voices, students walk together with Sounds of Hope: an act of philanthropic education – a responsible uprising.
