P.K. Subban visits The Children's young patients
The Children's families were all smiles during a special visit from P.K. Subban, beloved spokesperson for The Children's Foundation. When P.K. visits Montreal, he always finds the time to brighten the days of our young patients.
P.K.’s generosity and enthusiasm for helping sick children get back on their feet make him an incredible role model. His support, through P.K.'s Helping Hand, touches the lives of more than 9,000 families each year. We are very proud to be part of the legacy he has built here in Montreal and lucky to have him on our team.
A well-deserved honour
P.K. Subban was recently honoured for his outstanding contribution to the Habs' success and his extraordinary community involvement. Accompanied by Mila, a Children's young patient with a radiant smile, our spokesperson was visibly moved by the fans’ cheers.
P.K. extends his commitment to The Children's
P.K. Subban and his foundation have raised, to date, $6.3M net for The Children's as part of his historic $10M pledge, despite the challenges posed by COVID. To continue to improve the lives of sick children, P.K. has extended his commitment to ten years and is considering continuing the partnership for the long term. Click here to learn more.
About P.K.'s Helping Hand
P.K.’s Helping Hand is a fund dedicated to assisting vulnerable families financially devastated by a child’s illness. Having a sick child often means one parent has to stop working, which puts a financial burden on the whole family.
P.K.’s Helping Hand is dedicated to making sure that these parents don’t have to worry about paying for necessities like food and medicine and can instead focus on what’s most important: helping their child get better.
