The Grinch doesn’t stand a chance of stealing the holiday spirit thanks to our valued partner Dormez-vous. While mail delivery is temporarily unavailable, people can still make the Holidays bright for sick kids and their families by dropping their donations off at any Dormez-vous location in the Greater Montreal area .

Our generous retail partner will make sure the cheques get to the Hospital, safeguarding every dollar sent to help The Children’s vulnerable patients and expectant moms with high-risk pregnancies.

Spreading holiday joy!

“This is a holiday miracle,” said Renée Vézina, President of The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. “The postal strike is having a huge impact on our annual holiday campaign at a time of year when the kids and their families need us most. We are deeply grateful to Dormez-vous for helping to save the holidays for our young patients and their families!”

Each December, generous donors send roughly $500,000 through the mail to help the kids too sick to go home for the Holidays and young patients who depend on The Children’s throughout the rest of the year. This money pays for vital programs that help kids cope with serious illness and help families in financial distress pay for groceries, gas, meals and parking, which is particularly important this time of year. It supports the Pavillion Kat Demes, where families from out of town find a home away from home during their child’s hospitalization. Generous donors make sure parents can focus on what is most important: helping their child get well.

Double the impact of your donation!

There is more good news, every dollar donated by December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by P.K. Subban and his foundation, up to $250,000. Each gift will go twice as far to help sick children regain their health and energy and return to their sometimes-mischievous selves. A bratty kid is a healthy kid, and we want every Quebec child to be as healthy as possible.
