An exceptional 7th edition: the Young Leaders Circle, in collaboration with The Children’s Foundation, is pleased to announce that Breakfast with Leaders raised an impressive amount of more than $40,000 for The Children’s young patients!
On November 18th, more than 200 people gathered at the prestigious Mount Stephen for the 7th edition of Breakfast with Leaders. This unique networking event offers an extraordinary opportunity for the next generation to network with leaders and advocates for change, who are shaping Quebec.
Twenty-three leaders from the business, social and community sectors met with students and young professionals who want to make a difference in their community.
In an inspiring speech, Grégoire Baillargeon, President of BMO Financial Group Quebec, and guest speaker, delivered a passionate appeal to young people to get involved in philanthropy and never forget that the results of teamwork can make a huge impact.
These words took on a whole new meaning when Dr. Gabriel Altit, neonatologist, presented a moving testimonial from a family who needed the services of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, showing the importance of funding the many initiatives of The Children's.
The Children’s Foundation warmly thanks the organizing committee, co-chaired by Kim Bruneau and Alessia Di Giorgio, as well as the executives, leaders, sponsors, and participants who contributed to making this event a success and sparked the audience’s enthusiasm.
The Young Leaders Circle is made up of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 35 who create events, including Breakfast with Leaders, to benefit young patients at The Children’s. This year, the team was raising funds to meet The Children’s most urgent needs and help young patients get back to their mischievous selves.
