My 40th Birthday Fundraiser
As most of you know my 40th Birthday is coming up. I can not think of a better way to recognize this milestone then by supporting a cause that holds a special place in my heart. When I was 9 years old I was diagnosed with Scoliosis ( a disease that leads to a curvature of the spine). I wore a back brace ( and was followed closely at the Montreal Children's Hospital) until the age of 15 at which point the curve in my spine was so sever (affecting my lung capacity) that I underwent an 8 hour operation to correct it. Thanks to the incredible treatment, doctors and nurses at the Montreal Children's Hospital I have been able to live a full and active life. I am and will always be grateful to this incredible hospital and it's wonderful team.
Please help me celebrate my milestone birthday and help me help other kids get the chance to reach their milestones.
