Bal des tannants for The Children’s
The 22nd edition of The Children’s Foundation Ball was held on May 12, 2023.
Because a bratty kid is a healthy kid, this year’s ball will help fund the most urgent needs at the Hospital so sick children under their care can return to their energetic, sometimes even mischievous, selves.

The Children's Ball is one of the marquee events of the social season for Montreal’s business, community, and philanthropic leaders. It’s an incredible opportunity to invest in the health of sick children and demonstrate outstanding corporate citizenship.
The Children’s enjoys a reputation for excellence that families can count on. This reputation is in part due to our corporate partners and incredible donors. By supporting the 2023 Bal des tannants for The Children’s, you help our hospital remain at the forefront of pediatric care. Funds raised help support research, teaching, and clinical care, all instrumental in saving the lives of the children of our community.
All the funds raised will go towards the Healthy Kids Fund to support the Hospital’s most urgent needs, to help with the purchase of medical and surgical equipment or to fund innovative programs for instance.
By supporting the Healthy Kids Fund, you provide the hospital with the flexibility to direct funds where they are needed most, when they are needed most. Donations may be used to:
- Purchase life-saving medical equipment
- Fund research into childhood diseases, such as diabetes and cancer
- Teach the next generation of doctors and nurses
- Helping families facing financial difficulties due to their child’s hospitalization
- Other important priorities that depend on your generosity.
Your donation is vital to the Hospital's success as a world leader in pediatric healthcare. When you make a donation to the healthy Kids Fund to support the Hospital’s most urgent needs, you help transform care for countless of patients and their families.
Each year, the Ball for The Children’s features more than 800 Montreal business and community leaders. Corporate partners like you play an essential role in helping to shape a future where every child has the chance to grow up and reach their full potential, to the best of their ability – a future where sick children can just be kids.
