The Ball for the Children’s raises $1,017,725
Under the leadership of Mr. Grégoire Baillargeon, BMO Capital Markets, and Ms. Marie-Josée Lamothe, Google Canada, the event themed The Heart of Montreal raised $1,017,725 and also helped to showcase our Award of Excellence winners - hospital staff and volunteers who were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the well-being of sick children and their loved ones.
One of the evening's most inspiring moments was when young Award of Excellence winner Léa-Marie Filion, 12, took the stage. “When we become discouraged, Léa-Marie winds us back up! She helps us as much as we help her," said her parents, Donald and Sophie.
The Foundation would like to extend its warmest thanks to its co-patrons, as well as its Governor-level sponsor Bell, and to the members of the business community who sponsored its Awards of Excellence: BMO Capital Markets, the Gustav Levinschi Foundation, the National Bank, Pfizer, Sub-Zero and Wolf, TD, and TFI International. Funds raised at the Ball will go directly to the Healthy Kids Fund.
