Kurling For Kids
Curling enthusiasts Robert Sears and his wife, Sylvie Sanschagrin, founded K4K in recognition for the great care that saved their daughter’s life. After learning their daughter, then 2-year-old Jessica, had an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare condition involving an abnormal contact between the arteries and veins of the brain, they decided to transform the friendly tournament they organized once a year into a fundraising machine. Joining forces over the years with Carl Mainguy and John Stone, the K4K executive was formed and hundreds of lives have been transformed. They celebrated 20 years of fundraising in 2018.
Thank you to Kurling for Kids for having raised over $1,4 million to purchase life-saving equipment for our hospital. The group is dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families who come to the two Montreal pediatric hospitals, allowing both to provide cutting-edge medical treatments, programs, and equipment.
