Last year, I had the privilege of raising awareness and funds for the Montreal Children’s Hospital in honor of dear friends whose lives were shaken when their child fell ill; the services and support they received from this organization made their most difficult challenges just a little bit more bearable.
This will be my second year participating, and my first as a father. My son, only a few months old now, gives me a sobered perspective and strengthened resolve to give children and their families every comfort possible when the unimaginable upheaves their world.
Pedal for Kids is now at its 28th year, and every year is as important as the previous one. Every year, new children face new unthinkable health crises and overwhelming distresses. Every year, Pedal for Kids gives us an opportunity to reach beyond ourselves and make a positive contribution to a wonderful cause.
Once again, I call on each of you to open your hearts and give generously. This lofty goal is impossible without the kindness of like-minded folks like you who have always put kids first and are driven to contribute to the well-being of this vulnerable population. I am humbly asking for your support.
Our team will be taking to the streets in June 2019. I look forward to representing the support of each of you that you show through your kind words and generous donations.
