To pedal is a pleasure but to Pedal for kids is a great way to raise money and awareness for the well being of the young patients of the Montréal General Hospital for children. This year, I am taking part in this campaign with the Wellness Warriors team.
I invite you to give generously. The campaign will culminate on June 8 and 9 with the giant 35 seaters bike roaming the streets of downtown Montréal.
In 2023, the event aims to raise money for two projects in particular :
1. The acquisition of a pediatric defibrillator so as to highten chances for kids to survive on their transfer to the Hospital.
2. The organization of special activities and events for the children. Indeed, their healthcare experience is transformed when they can celebrate Holiday season and participate in seasonal activities and special days.
60% of the patients at the Montréal children's hospital need complex care and their entire family and surroundings are affected when illness strikes. It is crucial to raise funds dedicated to pediatric research and to help families in need (because they are giving up their job to take care of their child for example).
All funds collected by the Foundation help families in financial need, help generate public funding geared to pediatric research, help offer complex health care and train specialized professionals.
You will receive a tax receipt for donations of 15$ or more.
