On March 14, 2016 at 7 weeks old, Neeve was seen by the team in the Cardiology department for a minor concern. Little did we know, the thorough exam would uncover an extremely rare heart condition known as ALCAPA. The very next morning, Neeve was taken into surgery to correct her malformation. Thank goodness the surgery was successful. The following days were spent under the exceptional care of the amazing team of doctors and nurses in the PICU.
As a result of the amazing care she received, Neeve made a full recovery. Today she is thriving, she is funny, strong, smart, kind and beautiful inside and out.
Nothing is more important to us than being able to help other Children in need. That’s why we’ve decided to raise funds to support The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, for the benefitting the Cardiology department.
Through our experience, we can share with you that the Doctors, Nurses, staff and volunteers of The Children's are some of the best in the world. The amount of care and devotion given to Neeve and our entire family during her time at the hospital will hold a special place in our hearts forever.
