I'm delighted to join the 2023 Pedal for Kids campaign - my first time - as a member of the Wellness Warriors team.
Here's why I'm asking for your support.
* On average, a sick child impacts six lives and their family loses 40% of their income.
* 60% of patients at the Montréal Children's Hospital need complex care.
* Although children account for 25% of the population, only 10% of research funding goes to child health.
I invite you to give generously to the Montreal Children's Hospital as the Pedal for Kids campaign unfolds. The campaign starts now and will culminate in June 2023 when we will pedal a giant 30-seater bike through the streets of Montréal.
Your donation will help families that are financially devastated. It will serve as a springboard to attract public funding to help families for whom research is the only hope, punch a hole of light in the tunnel many patients have to go through in the Complex Care department, and train tomorrow’s medical leaders as they come and learn from the best and brightest in their respective fields at the Montréal Children's hospital.
You will receive a tax receipt for any donation of $15 or more.
