The Radiothon raised $1,315,000!

The Caring for Kids Radiothon, which aired on May 31, 2018, gave nineteen families the opportunity to share their stories, creating powerful messages of hope and determination.

The emotion at the hospital was palpable. From little Madison, diagnosed with leukemia – she lost her hair and was scared of being rejected – to Liam, attached to a Berlin Heart, which replaces his heart, to this year's spokeschild Rachel, who will need a heart-lung transplant, we were moved by all their inspiring stories.

And you were there, too! Your generosity filled the P.K. Subban Atrium, where the phones rang all day, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thanks to you, we raised $1,315,000 for the most urgent needs of the Hospital. We truly thank you!

We thank the Bell Media radio stations, CJAD 800, 95.9 Virgin Radio, CHOM97 7 and TSN Radio, as well as our Official Partner Dormez-vous? and Miracle Hour sponsors Air Canada Foundation, A Bunch of Moms, Larente Baksh & Associates-TD Group, Otsuka, Revolution Textiles & Home Decor, SNC-Lavalin and the Tenaquip Foundation. Thank you also to the dozens of volunteers who answered phones helping to ensure the event’s success.
