The Stefano Vito Ruvo (SVR) Children’s Foundation directly supports the Complex Care Service Fund at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, which was created to support and improve the quality of life of children with complex medical conditions. This fund will allow children and their families to benefit from equipment, treatments, and/or services that are otherwise not covered by private or public organizations.
The money generated by the SVR Children’s Foundation has financially helped several families with costs related to stimulation therapy, medical supplies, medical equipment, and medication costs. The costs related to all of the above can be very expensive for families, adding a financial burden to an already stressful situation.
ABOUT THE COMPLEX CARE SERVICE
The Complex Care Service's diverse team of health professionals work together to ensure a quicker, smoother transition from the hospital to the home and to provide the necessary support to keep children safely at home. Their mission is to provide safe, effective and family-centred outpatient care to children with complex medical needs so that these children can develop to their full potentials.
The Complex Care Service is in need of constant support; therefore, it is our goal to organize recurring events to promote the very existence of the department and to raise money to allow these children to thrive!
Thank you for your support!
