20th Annual St-Valentine's Ball

20th Annual St-Valentine's Ball

This year marks the Montreal AHEPA Family’s (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association) 20th Annual Saint Valentine’s Ball. It is your generous and ongoing support throughout the years that has helped raise over $887 000 for various children’s causes in the Greater Montreal Area. The Montreal Children’s Hospital, St. Justine’s Children’s Hospital, The Shriners Children’s Hospital, Giant Steps School for Autistic Children, the Socrates/Demosthenes Schools, the Jewish General Hospital NICU, Summit School and many more have all benefitted from your support; for this, we thank you!

This year our Valentine’s Ball celebrates its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the Montreal AHEPA Family has chosen the Montreal Children’s Hospital as this year’s beneficiary in honour of our very first Ball. We are very proud to be partnered with the P.K. Subban Foundation supporting P.K.’s Helping Hand at the hospital. This year’s campaign will benefit from P.K. Subban’s matching program during the month of December. Given that the program is open to the community at large it is imperative for all donations and gross sponsorship funds to be issued, dated and received between December 1st and December 31st, 2018. As there is no reserved amount for us, it is equally imperative to keep in mind that the earlier we receive your contribution, the greater the chance it will be matched dollar for dollar by the P.K. Subban Foundation.

P.K.’s Helping Hand is a fund dedicated to assisting vulnerable families financially devastated by a child’s illness. Having a sick child often means one parent has to stop working, which puts a financial burden on the whole family. P.K.’s Helping Hand is dedicated to making sure that these parents don’t have to worry about paying for necessities like food and medicine and can instead focus on what’s most important: helping their child get well. “When we all come together to support the Children’s young patients, everyone is a winner!” – P.K. Subban

The AHEPA Family is appealing to the Greater Montreal community at large to help in this endeavour. With your kind contribution and generous donation we hope to pass the one million dollar mark in total contributions to children’s causes. Different levels of sponsorship and advertising are available and a contribution form to be completed is also attached, to be returned with your choice of support.
