Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to perform at a live venue. It is for this reason that we have decided to present our show as a Premiere event you can watch directly in the comfort of your own home.

TIME WARP Music from the past becomes a gift to the present in Becket Players 46th annual production: Time Warp.

Covering a range of musical styles and dances, this year’s audience will be taken on a nostalgic voyage through the years! We start off in the 2010s, grounding us in the familiar sounds of today, before jumping from era to era.

Every decade hop brings further explorations of musical styles and hit songs, including the 50’s good old rock & roll, the 60’s psychedelic mix of folk rock and R&B, the disco-fueled 70s, the 80’s eclectic new wave beats, the rebellion of 90’s punk. There’s even a brief stop to visit the irresistible soft rock and pop combination of the 2000s before finally returning to the now and bringing the audience back home.

The event is in support of 3 West Island Charities; The West Island Palliative Care Residence provides compassionate care allowing terminally ill patients to spend their last days in comfort and with dignity, in a warm, home-like environment. Ongoing support is provided for bereaved families after the loss of a loved one including specialized care for children and adolescents to help them through the grieving process. AJOI offers street outreach work intervention services to at-risk youth aged from 12 to 25 years old in the West Island of Montreal. The Sian Bradwell Fund For Children With Cancer, for the purchase of priority medical equipment at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
